JetBlue Challenge: 25 Flights in 30 Days for 1 Million Points

Most people think airline miles are just for discounts—or worse, they cash them out for gift cards or statement credits. That’s almost always the weakest way to use points. The real value comes when you use them for flights (and sometimes hotels), where a single redemption can save you thousands.

So here’s what we’re doing: we’re flying 25 JetBlue flights in just 30 days. Why? JetBlue launched a special promotion called “25 for 25.” If you fly into 25 different JetBlue airports before the end of 2025, you unlock some serious rewards:

  • 150,000 points when you reach 15 airports
  • 200,000 more at 20 airports
  • 25 years of JetBlue Mosaic 1 elite statusonce you hit all 25 airports

With the flights themselves earning points, our family will end up with over 1 million JetBlue points total. JetBlue gave travelers until the end of the year to finish—but we’re doing it in just 30 days.

Why Points Matter

Not all points are created equal. There are two big categories:

  • Transferable points (like Chase Ultimate Rewards or Amex Membership Rewards): you can move these to different airlines or hotels.
    • Example: Chase → Hyatt for amazing hotel stays.
  • Non-transferable points (like JetBlue’s): you can’t move them out, but you can still score outsized value with the right redemptions.

JetBlue Miles in Action

One of the coolest hidden perks: JetBlue partners with Qatar Airways. That means you can book a seat in Qatar Qsuites—one of the world’s best business class cabins—for just 80,000-90,000 JetBlue points. That’s a flight that would normally cost thousands of dollars. Availability isn’t always easy (especially for a family of four), but it’s possible. We booked this exact thing last year using JetBlue miles we transferred from Chase.

On the simpler side, JetBlue miles are also great for everyday domestic flights—the exact kind we’re flying during this challenge.

The Bottom Line

This isn’t just a crazy stunt to rack up flights. It’s about unlocking experiences that most people never imagine they could afford. Used the right way, points are powerful. They don’t just buy tickets—they buy freedom, flexibility, and once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
